Love living in a peaceful, comfortable environment but somehow can't find the right energy flow?
What if there were a few small tips that could shift your space, regardless of where you are living, or staying, even for a brief time?
Feng Shui is one of the five ancient arts of Chinese Metaphysics. Originally used in the East to orient spiritually significant structures such as tombs, Feng Shui is now popularly used by people around the world in a wide variety of areas: landscaping, locating historical sites, architecture, environmental studies.
Nowadays the complex art of Feng Shui has been decoded to a degree for use in homes of every day people. Similar to the concept of extracting ancient energies and infusing them into every-day, wearable jewelry as I have done with my line of re-balancing amulets, P.R.A.Y., Feng Shui practitioners have developed an accessible connection to this ancient art.
Why Feng Shui?1. Improve health, prosperity, energy flow for yourself and surroundings
2. Helpful selecting home which can bring all of the above
3. Harmony, health, prosperity increases with interior design based on Feng Shui
4. Allows one to be in balance and avoid possible future negative scenarios
Easy Feng Shui Basics, Anywhere:
AVOID:
1. Front door opposite the back door; Qi (energy) may easily slip away.
2. Cactus or prickly plants/ objects inside a room. Increases aggressive energy, pushes others away
3. Bedroom - cluttered and has TV. The most important space - whether a long-term or temporary home, it is important to keep this space free of clutter so Qi may flow
4. Poorly positioned mirrors. A mention in my previous article, mirror reflections send energy into the room, or absorb energy for that matter. Poorly positioned mirrors, for example one reflecting the garbage can onto your desk, is less than ideal.
5. Clutter, garbage, dirt, in general hinder energy flow.
IDEAL:
1. Bed, desk, chair, table: facing the door. It is suggested to have this position in any room so you remain completely present with what you are doing.
2. Create an inviting entrance - to any room.
3. Place inviting & inspiring objects leading up to or just inside the door.
4. Lush plants bring life to spaces.
Enjoy this fun, simple activity to Feng Shui your bedroom.
